Assistant Restaurant Manager - Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort & Spa, Dubai
Having joined Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort & Spa in Dubai back in 1994 as a Waitress in the Ponte Vecchio Italian restaurant, Marigold's career development has been rapid. She has moved from Food and Beverage Captain at the Seabreeze bar and restaurant, to Supervisor of the Piano Bar, Senior Supervisor of the Fusions restaurant, where she is now Assistant Manager. Marigold leads a team of 10 staff of all nationalities serving Thai, Malay and Indonesian cuisine.
"I wanted to gain experience in a world class, five star hotel which really cares for and values its staff. I'm working in a really beautiful, very innovative hotel which respects local culture at the same time as introducing a subtle French influence.
Working in a multinational environment is definitely the best part of my job. I'd like to continue developing my career in Food and Beverage and am looking forward to my next challenge!"
